Fritts named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

Former Grand Valley State University midfielder Allyson Fritts of the women’s lacrosse team has been added to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association Division II Academic Honor Roll.

Fritts, who was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District first team in May, was a standout performer both on and off the field for the Lakers. The 2013 GLIAC Attacker of the Year notched 56 goals during her senior season, helping the team to a conference record of 8-0.

The two-time captain from Howell, Mich., finished her career as a Laker with 81 goals and 106 points.
Fritts, who graduated with a degree in health professions, will continue her education at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Services this fall.
