‘Art Is a Drag: The Library Is Open’ closing Wednesday, Nov. 29

The Grand Valley State University art exhibit “Art Is a Drag: The Library Is Open” is set to conclude its residence in the Mary Idema Pew Library Exhibition Space on Wednesday, Nov. 29. Until then, students at GVSU are able to see the artwork all day long.

The exhibit, which opened Saturday, Nov. 4, has had a number of events for the exhibit, including an opening remarks ceremony and a live drag show. Siblings Kaylee and Rachel Britton did the photography and modeling for the art pieces, all of which are inspired by popular culture in some way.
