Junior guard Ryan Sabin of the Grand Valley State University men’s basketball team shot his way into the GVSU record books twice on Saturday in the team’s 76-71 loss to Michigan Technological University.
Sabin shot 5-of-9 from beyond the arc in the game and, by doing so, took hold of the No. 10 spot in GVSU history for career three-pointers made (136). He also moved into the No. 10 spot for the most triples made in a single season (59).
Jason Jamerson (2004-08) owns the top spot in both categories with 303 (career) and 94 (single season).
