Global Gala

As Grand Valley State University continues to experience an expanding
international population, diversity equally ceases to run thin. Come experience
GVSU’s international side at the seventh annual cultural showcase, Global Gala.
Throughout the showcase, a variety of performances by student organizations
will come together to give GVSU an exotic taste of their homeland; literally.
Global Gala attracts over 350 members of the Grand Rapids community, and will
feature dancing, free food, a free raffle and more. The showcase will be hosted
in the Grand River Room of Kirkhof on Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Senior Dance Concert

Join in on the celebration and reflection of five Grand Valley
State University graduating seniors who will showcase their years of hard work

emotional reactions, including stress, relief, struggle and happiness,
“Existence” aims to be a performance that showcases each dancer’s own personal
aesthetics. The performance will be hosted on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. in
the Performing Arts Center, room 1600 on the Alllendale Campus. Admission is
free and open to the public.

hosted in Area 51 of the Kirkhof Center on Saturday from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. For
