“Do you think GVSU is well-rounded in the classes, majors and minors offered to students?”

Brendan Burke: “Yes, because of the sheer number of courses available. There are quite a few, and there are themes that are required for graduation.” Senior, secondary education, history emphasis, Commerce Township, Mich.

Ciara Cox: “Yes, there is a lot of different classes, compared to other universities.” Freshman, exercise science, Pinckney, Mich. 

Alexis Verceloino: “Yes, because we offer a lot of majors around here. There are lots of options students can take.” Sophomore, elementary education, English emphasis, Walled Lake, Mich.

Phuc Nguyen: “I definitely think there’s a good variety, from business to the medical field.” Freshman, pre-med, Wyoming, Mich. 

Tom Mierendorf: “It’s great that we have a diversity of classes. While it’s not the biggest college, we have a good variety for the size we are. I’d like to see a bit more in the arts, though.” Senior, advertising and public relations, Ypsilanti, Mich.
