Grand Valley Lanthorn

Nick Moran
Nick Moran is the 2019-2020 Editor-in-Chief of the Grand Valley Lanthorn, previously serving as the 2018-2018 Arts and News Editor. Hailing from Glenview, Illinois, he is studying multimedia journalism and communication studies at Grand Valley State University, poised to graduate in 2021. In addition to journalism, Nick has experience in public relations, event management and sponsor relations.

Nick has been involved in journalism since working with his high school newspaper, the Glenbrook South Oracle, where he received acknowledgements from the Journalism Educators Association (JEA). Currently, he's found his home with the Lanthorn, where he is excited to refine his craft and help others realize their potential. With roots in arts, review and news writing, one day hopes to continue to edit and keep the brazier that is print journalism lit.
