Grand Valley State University signed its 19th reverse transfer agreement on July 18 with Gogebic Community College near Ironwood, Mich. The agreement was instituted to help students who have completed 45 credits at GCC, but transferred to GVSU before earning their associates, earn that degree through the community college.

Grand Valley has reverse transfer agreements with other community colleges throughout the state including Grand Rapids, Alpena, Mid-Michigan, Muskegon, West Shore, Southwestern Michigan, Montcalm, Mott, Lansing, Macomb, Wayne County District, Northwestern Michigan, Jackson, Washtenaw, Lake Michigan, North Central Michigan, Glen Oaks and Kellogg.
