Grand Valley State University alumna Sandra Hughes O’Brien has recently been elected to the Wayne State University Board of Governors. O’Brien received her bachelor’s degree in legal studies from GVSU in 1990, as well as a law degree from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University in 1998. She is the owner of the O’Brien Law Office in Northville, and focuses on estate planning, probate and trust administration.
