President Thomas Haas announced on Nov. 8 that Grand Valley State University has partnered with the Grand Rapids Community Foundation to create a new scholarship for students from Grand Rapids Public Schools. The scholarship will be based on family income and which school the student attends. Ferris State University, Grand Rapids Community College and Aquinas College are also participating in the program. The scholarship is part of GRCF’s Challenge Scholarship Program.
