Longtime supporter and contributor Robert C. Pew II, passed away on Dec. 22 in Palm Beach, Florida. Pew played a key role in the expansion of Grand Valley’s downtown campus in Grand Rapids. Pew worked to secure land as well as funding that allowed the implementation of the Eberhard Center and the Meijer Public Broadcast Center. In addition, he also supported the Mary Idema Pew Library project, which is named after his wife of 60 years.
