The Grand Valley State University women’s volleyball team dropped three-straight sets Thursday against the University of Tampa en route to a quarterfinal exit from the NCAA Tournament.

GVSU fell 25-11, 25-14 and 25-17.

Senior middle blocker Rebeccah Rapin tallied eight kills to pace the Lakers, while senior outside hitter Krysta Kornack added seven kills. Senior setter Meghan Scanlon dished out 13 assists.

Tampa advances to play the winner of Wingate University/University of Central Missouri in the Final Four.
