Grand Valley State University’s Michigan Alternative and Renewable Energy Center will present a four-part workshop series on community solar energy during the month of July. Local experts and experts from across the nation will speak about the benefits of community solar energy projects. The workshops are co-sponsored by Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association and will be held Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. beginning July 9, at MAREC, 200 Viridian Drive, Muskegon.
