Ashley Botts

Foward

The GLIAC Offensive Player of the year has recorded 45 points, 18 goals and 9 assists this season and will put heavy pressure on the Northern Kentucky back line. Head coach Dave Dilanni called Botts a “physical specimen” in her strong, aggressive play, and her powerful right foot is a danger to goalkeepers when she is on a breakaway or behind a free kick. Look for the Lakers to run their offense through Botts and fellow forward Kayla Addison.

Amanda Mason

Midfielder

It should be an intense battle between the two midfields. Among the talented roster of Norse midfielders is senior Amanda Mason, who was named the Midwest Region Player of the Year Tuesday, as well as being the named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Year award. She ranks among the nation’s best with 15 goals and 13 assists, including a helper on teammate Megan Frye’s golden goal in Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Bellarmine in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
