Mike Ratay

Running back

After getting a boost in playing time following starting tailback Norman Shuford’s injury, the freshman gave the GVSU offense production in the ground and passing game. His 51-yard scamper late in the fourth quarter sealed up a career day. He finished with 105 yards on nine carries while adding three receptions for 48 yards.

Zach Galloway

Linebacker

Coming off a strong showing against Michigan Technological University last week, Galloway led the way for the Lakes with 11 tackles. He and the rest of the defense snuffed out the Northwood option attack for much of the game, and held them to only 3.8 yards per carry.
