An open forum will take place Sept. 26 at Grand Valley State University. This forum, called “Restorative Justice,” will cover various justice issues, and will contain 11 candidates that are running for Kent County. This forum will start off with questions that will be geared towards legislators, sheriff and judicial. These questions will focus on the philosophical views of justice and punishment, juvenile justice, as well as former and upcoming legislation in regards to justice. At the end of the forum, questions will be directed toward the audience.
