Weelhouse Talks welcome Yang Kim

Grand Valley State University’s Haunstein Center for Presidential Studies will welcome Yang Kim as the next speaker for the 2012-2013 Weelhouse Talks, next Wednesday. The Weelhouse Talks is a leadership and experience-based lecture series that gives students the opportunity to learn from others’ stories and life experiences that may lead them to success. Yang Kim is currently a gifted graphic designer and creative director at the local firm, Peopledesign. After studying at Carnegie Mellon University and Harvard Business School, Kim has worked with a number of high-profile clients including Steelcase and Herman Miller, as well as doing work with the Grand Rapids Art Museum and the Urban Institute for Contemporary Art. Kim will speak of her life, past experiences, and philosophies on leadership. The Talks begin at the UICA, located on 2 West Fulton Street, Grand Rapids, Michigan, at 12:30 p.m. The Weelhouse Talks are free and open to the public.
