Patrick Miles, Jr., a Grand Rapids native, was nominated by President Barack Obama to serve as U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan in 2012. Miles, Jr., will speak tonight about Effective Leadership and Service as part of the Professionals of Color Lecture Series presented by Grand Valley State University’s Office of Multicultural Affairs. The presentation will take place from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. in the Cook-Dewitt Center.
