Lecture series to feature internationally known performer

Joy Harjo, an internationally known poet, performer, writer and saxophone player of the Mvskoke/Creek Nation will visit Grand Valley State University this Wednesday. Harjo will speak from 4 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. in the Cook-Dewitt Center on the Allendale campus as part of the Professionals of Color Lecture Series hosted by the Office of Multicultural Affairs. The lecture is free and open to all students and is approved for LIB 100 and 201 courses.
