Spotlight Productions, Grand Valley State University’s programming board, announced Wednesday that country artist Justin Moore will be the headliner for the spring concert. Moore is known for hits such as “Backwoods,” “Small Town USA” and his most recent single “Bait a Hook.”

The opening act, the Kari Lynch Band, is from Grand Rapids. They have quite a resume as well, and will play with Frankie Ballard on Friday night in Traverse City.

Moore will perform in GVSU’s Fieldhouse Arena on April 12 at 9 p.m. (doors at 8 p.m.). Tickets will go on sale March 12. They are $10 for students, $15 for faculty/staff/alumni and $20 for the general public. Tickets can be purchased at the 20/20 Desk in the Kirkhof Center or at startickets.com.
