Summit on Family Philnathropy

Sponsored by Grand Valley State University’s Johnson Center for Philanthropy, the Johnson Center National Summit on Family Philanthropy will take place May 19 and 20 in downtown Grand Rapids’ JW Marriot.
The conference, titled “Charity Begins at Home: Families Rebuilding Communities” will feature scheduled speakers such as Rich DeVos, co-founder of Amway; David Frey, chairman of the Frey Foundation and John Pepper, Jr., chairman of the board for Walt Disney Corporation.
Other philanthropy leaders from across the country will also join in sharing insights and advice during the two-day summit including a keynote dinner presentation by Tom Tierney, founder of the Bridgespan Group and co-author of Give Smart.
