Earth Science Week

Earth Science week is this week, and there are three events left. Today, Marge Beaver from Photography Plus in Muskegon will present “The View from Above: An Aerial Perspective of the U.S. with a Focus on Michigan,” followed by a book signing. It will take place from noon- 12:50 p.m. in Loutit Lecture Hall 103.
Friday will host two events, the first being Dr. Susan S. Hubbard’s “Waves and Wine: Geophysical Characterization to Guide Precision Viticulture.” Hubbard, from the Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory and the Geological Society of America, will present from 11 a.m. to noon in Loutit Lecture Hall 103.
Also taking place Friday will be Hubbard’s second presentation, “Toward X-Ray Vision: Geophysical Signatures of Complex Subsurface Processes,” in room 106 of Padnos Hall. This lecture will take place from 3 to 3:50 p.m.
