GV alumna receives Fulbright grant

Kelsey Schoenborn, a Grand Valley State University alumna, has been awarded a Fulbright grant for a U.S. student teaching assistantship in Brazil. As one of 120 U.S. students chosen for the grant, Schoenborn will be working from March through November of 2014 as part of a plan to increase the quality and quantity of English teaching in Brazil before the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games. Schoenborn graduated from GVSU in 2012 with a degree in Spanish-secondary education.
