GVSU hosting Military Appreciation Day

Grand Valley State University will be celebrating the troops during this weekend’s football game against Tiffin University. The first 1,000 students who attend the football game will receive a camouflage t-shirt. In addition to the shirts, the first 3,000 students will receive bam bam sticks, which will be red, white and blue. The football team will also be wearing special uniforms with camouflage numbers, and the nameplate on the back will represent a branch of the military. There will also be a postgame fireworks show.
