Field issues caused by inclement weather have resulted in a trio of rescheduled doubleheaders for the Grand Valley State University softball team.

GVSU will compete in a rescheduled two-game set today against Lake Erie College starting at 10 a.m. Due to unplayable fields at Lake Erie, the game will be played at Walsh University.

The Lakers will then compete in a rescheduled twinbill at Northwood University on Tuesday beginning at 3:30 p.m.

GVSU, which has had to cancel nine games in 2014, played at Walsh University on Sunday for the first time in 22 days.
