GV faculty receive Fulbright Awards

Three Grand Valley State University faculty members received Fulbright Awards for the 2013-14 academic year. Kurt Ellenberger, a professor in the Frederik Meijer Honors College, will be going to Austria to research and teach a course on jazz theory. Rich Jelier, professor of public, non-profit and health administration, will be traveling to Moscow to teach and conduct research on comparative urbanization and government strategies for sustainability. Sylivia Mupepi, associate professor of nursing, is heading to Cape Coast in Ghana to visit the university where she helped create a master’s program in nursing and also to conduct research on cervical cancer.
