GV Game Day experience to feature social media interaction

The Grand Valley State Laker football game day experience, from tailgating to the actual game and the post-game, is heralded as one of the best in the country regardless of division. For this Saturday’s (Sept. 19) contest between nationally-ranked Grand Valley State and Ferris State, GVSU athletics, in conjunction with University Communications, is initiating a special GV Game Day experience through the internet and social media.

GV Game Day will not only give fans the traditional Internet webcast, but will incorporate all of the social media opportunities that are offered in today’s world. GV Game Day will offer fans the opportunity to interact through Twitter and Instagram, while also watching the Internet webcast with Tom Cleary calling the action. In addition, fans will be able to watch live webcams that will be placed at various spots throughout Lubbers Stadium and watch sideline interviews and features that will be produced during the game with special guests.

To interact or join the conversation fans can use GVGameday or AnchorUp on social media. (Courtesy – Tim Nott, GVSU Sports Information)
