The Women’s Center at Grand Valley State University was recently granted the Outstanding Achievement Award from the National Women’s Studies Association, which is an organization that guides and supports women and gender through teaching, learning, research and service in academics and other settings. Staff members were honored and recognized at the NWSA Women’s Center Committee pre-conference awards ceremony on Nov. 8 in Oakland, Cali.
