Apr 5, 2010
Friday night, a brush fire broke out on campus behind Johnson Living Center. Although all students were evacuated from the center as a safety precaution, the fire did not spread to the building and the center itself was not damaged by the fire. In addition, no injuries were reported.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the cause of the fire is still undetermined, although they believe high winds and dry ground cover likely played a role in the fire’s spread.
