Active Shooter Training
Currently, senator Jonathan Bowman ([email protected]) is working with the Grand Valley State University Police Department, as well as the housing department, to create some form of active shooter training for students that are interested in being prepared in the event that this emergency situation does happen. Please contact him if you would like more information or would like to help him with the initiative.

Student senate will be hosting another visit from Dickinson Elementary students. Dickinson Elementary is a Grand Rapids Public School located in an area of high poverty. Students come for a visit to be encouraged to pursue higher education. Please contact senator Malayna Hasmanis ([email protected]) if you would like more information on how to volunteer.
