A member of the award-winning Ban on a Can All-Stars, the
Metropolis Ensemble and a founding member of four chamber groups, New
York-native Ashley Bathgate will be gracing the Performing Arts Center with a unique
cello performance. Internationally, her reputation stems from her talent as
both a soloist and chamber musician.
The
New York Times
writes Bathgate as having a “rich tone, [and] fluid
dynamics.” Her concerts display a broad variety of musical genres with an
emphasis on new music by today’s composers. The event is tomorrow Oct. 17 at
7:30 p.m. in 1325 PAC. The concert is open to the public with free admission.
