Campus events recognize Cesar Chavez

There will be a silent march and speech at Grand Valley State University to honor and acknowledge Cesar E. Chavez on Wednesday, March 20. The march will begin at 1:30 p.m. in front of the Zumberge Library. The speech by Mark Kamimura-Jimenez will be from 2-3 p.m. in the Grand River Room of the Kirkhof Center. These events are sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Inclusion and Equity, Latino Student Union, and WGVU Public Media.
