GV adds new master’s program

The Grand Valley State University Board of Trustees approved the addition of the master’s of public health degree program at its April meeting. The program will accommodate a cohort of 60 students beginning in fall 2013, and there are currently 22 students who have expressed interest in the program, which will focus on epidemiology, health promotion and health administration. It will also aid students looking to work in both public and private sectors of public health.
