World affairs lecture open to campus community

Grand Valley State University students, faculty and staff members can attend each of the upcoming “Great Decisions” lectures, sponsored by the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan, at no cost.

The series begins Feb. 6 and continues each Monday, from 6 to 7:15 p.m., through March 26 at the Aquinas College Performing Arts Center. GVSU is among the university sponsors of the series. GVSU audience members should sign the GVSU list at the registration table prior to each lecture.

Autism Support Center earns grant

The Autism Education Center at Grand Valley State University received a grant for $24,200 from Autism Speaks, a national leading foundation set up to combat the effects of autism. The grant will help improve services for individuals with autism in the areas of education and young adult and adult services through the START Building Your Future Project.
