GV to host West Michigan teen entrepreneur academy

Grand Valley State University’s Michigan Aleternative and Renewable Energy Center will play host to the first ever Teen Entrepreneurship Summer Academy, scheduled to run July 18-22.
The five-day summer camp is aimed at honing entrepreneurial talents in analyzing, developing and pitching a detailed business plan for enterprise. Students selected for the academy will compete for a total of $1,000 in cash prizes.
Mentored by business professionals and other notable entrepreneurs in the area, the academy will include business and technology workshops through the week. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for students.
