A proposed wind farm in Muskegon County could be set up by the end of the year in the county’s wastewater site. The project, which would not be completely operational until 2013, would involve 50 wind turbines capable of producing electricity for 30,000 homes. This 150 megawatt wind farm would be part of a the larger 500 megawatt wind farm proposed for Lake Michigan off the shores of Grand Haven.
