ENTHUSIASTS TO SHOWCASE CARS AT GVSU
Apr 11, 2012
While a ride on the Rapid will certainly provide effective transportation, some students seek something special in their transportation.
For those students, the Grand Valley State University Car Club has organized a sort of support group in the GVSU Car Show, which will feature cars from students and local community members.
Last year’s show had a diverse palate of cars, with some dating to the 1930’s and others only a year or so old. The show also had a variety of vehicle types including muscle cars, pickup trucks, station wagons, a micro-car and sedans.
The club is hosting the GVSU Car Show on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in parking lot H on the Allendale Campus. Registration for the car show begins at 10 a.m.
Students not showing cars are still welcome to check out the vehicles and meet fellow auto enthusiasts.
