On May 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Grand Valley State University Alumni Association will present a special event at the GVSU Art Gallery. In an effort to celebrate alumni art on campus for GVSU’s 50th Anniversary, new alumni works will be on display in the gallery.

At 6:30 p.m., director of GVSU galleries and collections Henry Matthews will give a presentation along with alumnus Richard Kooyman, who now lives and works as a full-time artist in Chicago, Ill. and Kaleva, Mich.

Parking is located in parking lot H or K, south of the Performing Arts Center. Complimentary food, beverages and entertainment will also be provided.
