Michigan Office for New Americans established by Gov. Snyder

On Friday, during an event in Grand Rapids, Gov. Rick Snyder officially signed into law the Michigan Office for New Americans. Several international students from Grand Valley State University were in attendance. The office has been created to coordinate all efforts related to immigration and recruitment of international students. At the event, Snyder also named Bing Goei the office’s official director.
