Kirtland Community College, in Roscommon, became the 20th community college in Michigan to sign a reverse transfer agreement with Grand Valley State University on Aug. 12. This agreement enables GVSU students to complete an associate’s degree at the community college, provided they earned 45 credits at Kirtland before transferring to Grand Valley. The university’s goal is to sign these agreements with all 28 community colleges in the state.
