The Grand Valley State University Native American Student Association is sponsoring a volunteer event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. Students and community members are encouraged to attend.

Participants will help clean up the Norton Mound National Historical Landmark, located in Grand Rapids. The Hopewellian burial mound is one of the few surviving in the area. The Grand Rapids Public Museum also sponsors the annual event.
