The Grand Valley State softball team held Media Day on May 13 before practice after sweeping conference rival Wayne State to reach the College World Series for the third time in program history.

While the Lanthorn wasn’t in attendance to talk with the coaches and players today, we were in Detroit and on Wayne State’s field after the game as the Lakers celebrated its Midwest Super Regional championship.
