The announcement and acknowledgement of 20 new scholarships for Grand Valley State University students was celebrated at the annual Scholarship Celebration Dinner on Oct. 8 in the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel. More than 75 donors, as well as students and families attended this event. More than 80 percent of GVSU full-time students depend on scholarships to help them out financially, and more than 2,000 GVSU students receive private scholarships every year.
