Study Abroad Fair
On Oct. 17 there will be a study abroad fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Grand River Room located on the second floor of Kirkhof Center. This is the Padnos International Center’s biggest event of the year. Students can browse study abroad programs and meet other students who have already participated international programs. Faculty program directors will be in attendance to answer questions. Students can expect to get information about program selection, funding and academics. Sisterhood Event: Delightful Discussions
The sisters from the Muslim Student Association (MSA) are holding a sisterhood event on Oct. 18th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Kirkhof Center room 1142. The sisters are invited to join MSA to have insightful conversations about Islamic topics. Food and dessert will be provided.
Pumpkin Painting
On Oct. 19 the Helping Hands Club is holding a pumpkin painting event for members. The event will run from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Kirkhof Center room 2259. The club requests that members planning on participating please fill out the Google form to ensure they have enough materials. Military Appreciation Hockey Game
On Oct. 19 the GVSU Men’s Hockey will be taking on Calvin at Griff’s Georgetown Ice Arena. The game starts at 8:30 p.m. The event will be honoring the military throughout the game. Tickets are free for students with a GVSU ID. More information can be found here.
