Campus scavenger hunt
The Catholic Student Ministries will be holding a campus scavenger hunt on Monday, Aug. 28, at Carillon Cook Tower from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. to test their knowledge of campus.
Students meet at Carillon Cook Tower to start, then will be broken off into groups to accomplish a wild expedition around campus! The first to finish will get the grand prize.
This event is free and anyone is welcome. Students can RSVP on LakerLink.
Sand volleyball hangout
Campus Ministries is holding a free sand volleyball hangout for students to take a midweek break from the start of classes on Wednesday, Aug. 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to come and join.
Students can meet at the Grand Valley State University Sand Volleyball Courts at 10583 Laker Village Dr, Allendale, Mich.

Wardrobe to success
Join personal stylist, Gabriela Salais, for a back-to-school styling event called “Wardrobe to Success with the Gammas” on Tuesday, Aug. 29. This event will focus on building a practical capsule wardrobe to help create outfits for upcoming internships, job interviews and special occasions.
The brothers of Phi Beta Sigma and Alphi Phi Alpha will be modeling various outfits, as well as the sisters of Delta Phi Lambda and Delta Sigma Theta.
This event is free and anyone is welcome.
CAB meeting
The Campus Activities Board is holding its first weekly meeting this Tuesday, Aug. 29 at KC 0058 (Thornapple Room) from 9:15 to 10:15 p.m.
Anyone is welcome. This meeting focuses on learning more about how to plan events for campus. Student organization e-board participants are especially encouraged to come and learn how to organize and plan on-campus events.
