Laker-Vania

The Campus Activities Board is hosting Laker-Vania, an event filled with games and food. 

This event is free and Halloween costumes are encouraged, there will be a costume contest at the event. This event is free and will be held on Oct. 30 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Grand River Room located in Kirkhof Center. 

Dia De Los Muertos Celebration

Join the Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority, on Oct. 30 to celebrate Dia de Los Muertos in collaboration with the Latin American studies program. The organization will have a presentation about the holiday and skull painting starting at 5 p.m. and a celebration at 6:30 p.m.

BiBimBar

The Asian Student Union is holding its first Bibimbar fundraising event. This event will be held on Friday, Nov. 3 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Holton Hooker Multipurpose Room 121A. 

The event will have various food items for purchase like bibimbap, kimchi, banana milk and more. There will be “minute-to-win-it” style games. Attendees can win prizes by playing Korean mini-games.

Turkey Trot 5k

The Alzheimer’s Awareness club is holding a Turkey Trot 5k on Nov. 4 starting at 9 a.m. in order to raise money towards ending Alzheimer’s disease.
