Alpha Sigma Tau annual grilled cheese dinner

Alpha Sigma Tau is putting on its annual grilled cheese dinner on Nov. 6, starting at 5:30 p.m. held in the Alpha Sigma Tau House (5050 Pierce Street Building A, Allendale, Michigan). 

The Grilled Cheese Fundraiser will be raising funds for Girls Who Code. Girls Who Code is an organization that works towards closing the gender gap in technology through a Summer Immersion Program, several clubs and a series of books. 

Tickets are $4 before the event and are sold online. Tickets are $5 if bought at the door.

STAGE’s “Yikes!” theater show

STAGE, Grand Valley State University’s theater club is holding its annual theater show. The show is a collection of student-written, directed and performed comedies. 

The event will be held in the Pere Marquette Room located in Kirkhof Center on Friday, Nov. 10, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are free at the door, and doors open at 6:50 p.m. 

Laker Vets 5K

This Veterans Day, the GVSU Student Veterans of America Chapter (Laker Vets) in partnership with the Peter Secchia Military and Veterans Resource Center, invites students and Lakers from the community to participate in the second annual “Laker Vet Run, Walk Fly 5K.”

Annual YBBW hairshow 2023

You Beautiful Black Woman (YBBW) is holding its hairshow on Nov. 11 starting at 6 p.m. in the Grand River Room in ​​Kirkhof Center. This event will showcase the organization’s talented hairstylists. More information about the event through LakerLink.
