Alpha Phi Omega “Plant & Paint” event
On Monday, Sept. 11 Alpha Phi Omega is holding a Plant & Paint event in Kirkhof Room 2201 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Students can learn more about the service organization and future opportunities. Campus cleanup
On Tuesday, Sept. 12 the Student Environmental Coalition is holding a “Campus Cleanup” at 6:30 p.m. Students will meet at Cook Carillon Tower. This event is free and all students are encouraged to come. Gloves and and trash bags will be provided.
Helping Hands Gilda’s Club Charity Walk
Helping Hands Club is holding the Gilda’s Charity Walk. In partnership with Gilda’s Club in Grand Rapids the walk will support cancer patients and survivors. The walk will take place from 10:45 to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sep. 16 at 1806 Bridge St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. Everyone is welcome at this event. Japanese Cultural Association Karaoke Bonanza-zanza
The Japanese Cultural Association is holding a karaoke night on Friday Sept. 15 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Language Resource Center located in MAK D-2-221. All students are welcome to come and hang out, meet other students, sing or just enjoy other performances. There will be an array of Japanese snacks to try.
