Versiti Blood Drive

Sustainable Agriculture Project Tour

The Student Environmental Coalition is holding an educational tour of GVSU’s Sustainable Agriculture Project (SAP) at 6 p.m. on Sept. 28. There is limited parking available at the SAP, so there will be a chance to carpool by meeting in Lot M on the Allendale campus. There is a Google form on the coalition’s Instagram page @gvsu_sap where they will be posting more information about carpooling and a Google form sign-up. More information can be found here

Laker Con offers opportunity for comic enthusiasts

The Student Interest Group for Illustrators, Fred Meijer Center for Writing and Michigan Authors, and the Department of Visual Media and Arts are all collaborating to throw Laker Con. This event will be held Sep. 29 through Oct. 1 in the Grand Atrium located in the Mary Idema Pew Library and Information Commons. The event aims to celebrate comics literacy and the scholarly merits of sequential storytelling from things like comic books, graphic novels, animation, as well as exalting the entertainment arts.
