Cultural Food Tasting Night

The Anthropology Club is holding its annual Cultural Food Tasting Night on Oct. 4 starting at 5:30 p.m. in Lake Michigan Hall Room 249. Everyone is welcome to come to this event and taste food from all around the globe. The Anthropology club kindly requests interested students RSVP through LakerLink

ASU Taste of Asia 

GVSU’s Asian Student Union (ASU) is holding its annual Taste of Asia fundraiser. This fundraiser offers a variety of Asian food from all over the continent. Students can purchase a plate to fill with food for $12 if they RSVP early or pay $14 at the door. There will also be a $7 spicy ramen challenge for those interested. Everyone is welcome to come, there will be food and music. This event will be held on Oct. 6, from 6-9 p.m. in the Niemeyer Multipurpose Room. Renaissance Festival 2023

The Grand Valley Renaissance Festival is holding its 27th annual fair on Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will take place by the Cook Carillon Tower. Celebrate with fun, laughter and music. There will be merchants selling a variety of items like jewelry, crystals, art and leatherwork. There will be live entertainers ranging from bards to storytellers to knights. More information here

Cider Mill Meet

On Saturday, Oct. 7. the Michigan State University Racing Club is hosting its annual Cider Mill Meet. The even welcomes other Michigan car clubs from across the state. This event will be held at the Country Mill Cider Mill. There is a Cars and Coffee event beforehand at Royal Scot Golf and Bowl beginning at 10 a.m. with the cruise to the cider mill beginning after around 12 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend this event.
