The NAACP presents lectures on diversity affairs

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will present two lectures with the purpose of enhancing attendees’ concepts of diversity affairs. The first lecture, which takes place Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. in Kirkhof Center 215, focuses on race in the time of Barack Obama and on the recent case of Trayvon Martin. The second lecture takes place Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. in Kirkhof Center 215. The conversations are led by Sean Huddleston, the Director of the Office of Intercultural Training, Learning & Development at Grand Valley State University.
